GOP leadership takes a huge hit!

Political history was made in Virginia on Tuesday night during Virginia’s Primary. But it wasn’t the historical event Republicans could get excited about.

When incumbent Eric Cantor lost his seat in the House of Representatives last night, there was no celebration, there were no streamers, and no fireworks. There was no exultation and no cheerful acceptance speech.

Only remorse and somberness!

Is Plutocracy imminent for America?

As we approach the 2014 elections there are right-wing politicians running for offices throughout the country that have been bought and sold by the perfidious Koch Brothers, who have no desire to be part of this great country, only to use it to amass enough wealth to manipulate it and create a Plutocracy.

There’s no shortage of politicians willing to sell their integrity to people like the Koch’s to remain in office; willing to lie to retain a false sense of power and authority.

How do we fight this insidious malignancy?

“The Fairer Sex in the Senate”

Women in the Senate are becoming more powerful.

The August body, though still in the grips of mostly older white men, is now the provence of 19 women, from 16 states, and the number grows every election.

That trend is likely to continue as newly elected Senators like Elizabeth Warren make a significant difference in the political discourse — especially within the Senate — countering the divisiveness, intransigence and the fatalistic policies of McConnell, Grassley, McCain, Alexander, Hatch, Cornyn, Graham, Sessions and so many others.

Are strong women the answer to our political nightmare?
