“Growing Social Insecurity”

Seniors on Social Security receive a 1.5% boost!

Seniors are being left out in the cold as temperatures drop and heating costs rise along with rent, food, co-pay’s, and other vital necessities squeeze them for their precious and limited dollars.

Next week retired citizens receive their Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for Social Security, a paltry one and a half percent, for the average recipient a whopping $17 per month. Seniors will be forced to stretch their retirement income just a little further — sacrifice just a bit more.

It’s an embarrassment; a slap in their venerable faces! An affront to a life well lived.

Are we killing our seniors?

“Here We Go Again”

Republicans are hoping to find a star for 2016.

It’s still three years before the next Presidential election but already potential candidates are maneuvering for a shot as the party’s top contender.

Not so long ago, maybe three years or so, a number of Republican politicians unfurled their plumage — strutting before the party hoping to be the choice for the coveted award at the Republican National Convention — the GOP nominee for the Presidency.

They all pretended to have what it takes to become the top dog. But the field eventually narrowed, settling on the ‘strongest’ in an extremely weak field, Mitt Romney.

So here we go again!

“Republicans Cry Fraud”

The clarion call from Republicans: Fraud!

Using fear in promoting selfish and ultimately destructive policies has become the GOP methodology — the backbone of their final attempt to hold onto a waning power.

Like the “Boy Who Cried Wolf” the GOP’s mantra for passing illegitimate legislation is the word ‘fraud.’ People are slowly catching on to their deceit and the party numbers are dwindling. Dropping with each deception, with every lie.
